I watched a few films with her just because I wanted to see her. Here a more recent picture, from when she was 51:

So, this one developed into a really big post, way too much. But I felt like writing this down. If not for anyone else, it’s interesting for me to reflect on this.

I remember having a discussion, one night out when I was 20. Me, my two best friends and the girl I was in love with (but never told her), who had started studying dentistry. With my definition of celebrity crushes, I actually keep having small celebrity crushes even at 46. It’s more that I admire someone when I see them. I wouldn’t do what I did as a teenager, then watch entire films just to admire someone. I’m a bit too old for that.

But I have also always found her really really pretty. And, yes, sexy. During my college year in the US, I had a huge promo poster of her on my door (“Stories from the City…”).

Do all you people that took the "jab" feel lied to yet?

I had the following on VHS back then. She was just raw and fierce. Pantyhose, boots, no bra.

Incredibly pretty.

But there’s another aspect, I can also find someone physically attractive. In that respect, among other, I have a thing for plus-size women. And when thinking about it: How many famous actresses would classify as plus size? I cannot think of any right now. I am sure I would have had a crush on a plus-size actress. But there do not seem to be any. At least not a lot, for sure. Which is a bit unfair, I have to say. A bit discriminating. TV and films should show more plus size women.

To this day, I would count it among my top 20 favourite albums. I saw them again in Sweden then.

Here it was just the music videos. “Not If You Were The Last Junkie on Earth”: You do not even see her that much, on keyboards and tambourine. But every time the video came on, I had to watch, I was waiting for those moments. Wow. It wasn’t more than that though, really.

I do find this topic interesting, browsing through others’ posts. It really shows one thing: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is no general standard, really. It’s individual. And that’s quite nice, isn’t it?

Her big eyes, the eyelid space (interesting thing to notice as attractive), her paleness (yes, one can like paleness!). Her vulnerable expression and in the next moment that glow, that spark.

Right, and a few years ago, I watched the Martha & The Muffins’ video “Echo Beach” and was really fascinated by the blonde keyboard player, Martha Ladly.

Seems like I, when watching sports, always find an athlete I find very pretty, where I am waiting for the camera to show her. It’s stupid but it’s true.

I had seen this video on MTV Alternative Nation. Not only did I love the song and went to buy the album the next day, I also immediately was focused on Louise Post. I loved Nina as well, but it was Louise.

And they are both just lovely and funny (and very pretty). Gotta love both of them.

But well, that’s it from me. Yes, I am quite fascinated with female beauty. Mostly, it’s the eyes, definitely. The eyes and the face. But it’s even more fascinating when personality fascinates you as well. That’s the real deal. In real life. And on TV or in videos, you can just admire looks and personality. Without anyone knowing, for my part ;-) I would only share this here, where I am anonymous.

P.S. An interesting thing. In real life, superficially, it’s faces for me. Eyes. And faces. Although I don’t believe that eyes is a superficial thing, actually.

All secretly, I did not want my sisters or anyone else to notice ;-) Would have been uncool, I thought. So no posters or stuff. First of all, for me, per definition, “celebrity crush” means a person I find to be very attractive and I can’t stop watching because I find them very beautiful. I don’t mean an obsession. I never had that. Even as a teenager, I could only have that in real life. A real crush. Permanently thinking about someone. Celebrities were never “real” for me in that sense. And hey, as you will see, there are a lot that have fascinated me, more or less (whereas in real life, it hasn’t been very many). But always just when I was seeing them (or, with singers, also listening to them). So, that’s my definition of celebrity crush.
